Job summary

Interim HealthCare provides full-time nursing assistant positions with shifts 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am every other weekend; times may flex from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. The role pays $23/hour and offers weekly pay plus holiday pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Care for residents in group home settings, working with RNs, LPNs, and aides to meet daily needs, monitor vitals, assist with mobility, and document changes. WV CNA certification and CPR required.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication or equipment.
