Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility. The role operates 6:00am - 2:15pm on weekends, under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care tasks as outlined in the resident care plan.

We require a CNA certification and a minimum age of 16, with ongoing competency testing and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours of CE required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing).
• Take and record vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining experiences.
• Assist with documentation of resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Support infection prevention practices and PPE use.
