Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 34429 Davie Medical Center - Medical Unit. The role involves direct patient care under an RN, with emphasis on safety, hygiene and accurate communication while supporting a compassionate team environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide registration in good standing, and BCLS certification. The schedule is 36 hours weekly across 3x12 hour shifts, with a mandatory holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated by the State Registry.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the nursing process by giving direct care under the direction of an RN.
• Performs procedures under the supervision of an RN.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely communication of patient information.
