Kern River Transitional Care Center in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for part-time and full-time roles. You will assist residents with ADLs, provide compassionate care, and work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA certification in good standing.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and restorative care.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
• Support residents' rights and individuality.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support; use safe lifting techniques and infection control procedures.
