Job summary

The Legacy at North Augusta is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMT) to safely administer medications and assist residents with daily care needs. This PRN role supports our health-focused team in providing compassionate, personalized care.

Under RN supervision, you’ll document administration, adhere to regulations, and help residents stay as independent as possible while maintaining the highest standards of safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing.
• One year of hands-on experience as a CMT.
• Expertise in safe, accurate medication administration.
• Top-notch attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Tech-savvy with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
• Document medication administration and report changes.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification.
• Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration.
• Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly.
