Job summary

The Legacy at North Augusta is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (PRN) to safely administer medications and assist with daily care for residents. You will work under the supervision of an RN, documenting all administrations and monitoring resident conditions.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of hands-on experience as a CMT.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
  • Document all medication administration and report changes.
  • Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Follow state regulations and facility policies.

Pay Range: $21.00 – $25.75 (Final offer reflecting the candidate's skills, relevant experience, and professional background)

What You'll Do

  • Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
  • Document all medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
  • Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification
  • Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration
  • Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly
