Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our senior living community. You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help maintain a safe, comforting environment.

You’ll work with the Healthcare Coordinator to document care, monitor residents, and respond to needs with professionalism. Prior CMA certification and caring for seniors are essential, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• CMA certification in good standing is required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up with families/providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, mobility).
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for residents.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Coordinator on training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
