Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our senior living community. In this role you’ll administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help create a safe, comfortable environment.

You’ll document medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with healthcare staff and families. The position requires CMA certification in good standing and at least 6 months of caregiving experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes.
• Assist with vital signs, labs, and communications with families/providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, meals, mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with the Healthcare Coordinator on training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
