Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care physician, ensuring services stay within Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines. You will review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms for upcoming examinations.

Greet patients, verify diagnostic results, and keep charts up-to-date. You will handle clerical tasks and provide professional, compassionate service to our community.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active MA certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA/NCMA/NCCT or ABR-OE accepted when MA certification unavailable (not in SC).
• BLS/CPR certification required or preferred for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Review and update patient charts ensuring test results and records are current.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone calls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Assist with preparing treatment rooms for examinations.
