Job summary

Harrington Park Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Medication Aide to administer prescribed medications and provide routine care in a Georgia facility. You will document actions and follow clinical guidelines to support resident safety and well-being.

The role requires a CNA and CMA in Georgia, with duties including insulin and glucose testing, and collaboration with licensed nurses. Evening, night, and weekend shifts offer differential pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia required.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications (oral, topical, ophthalmic, otic, nasal, vaginal, rectal).
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed and per guidelines.
• Administer medications via a metered dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger-stick blood glucose testing following guidelines.
• Document medication administration in the resident's record.
• Report changes to the licensed nurse and ensure proper storage of medications.
