Job summary

Sterling Estates East Cobb in Marietta, GA is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Assisted Living team. This full-time, 1st shift position runs 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. with rotating weekends, providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents.

You must hold a Georgia CMA license and demonstrate kindness, patience, and a helpful attitude. Responsibilities include personal care, mealtime assistance, documentation, and timely response to calls and emergencies.

Qualifications

• You must hold current Georgia CMA license.
• Be caring, compassionate and patient with a pleasant attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtimes and encourage them to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report unfinished tasks to the nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families and department heads as needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
