Job summary

Northridge Health & Rehab in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our full-time team. You will administer physician-ordered medications, monitor treatments, and follow clinical guidelines in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Requirements include GA CNA and CMA licenses and a high school diploma. Proficiency with MS Office is preferred. We offer competitive pay, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• GA Certified Nursing Aide and Certified Medication Aide licenses required.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed and per guidelines.
• Administer medications via metered-dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger-stick blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration and any declinations in resident records.
• Report unusual reactions to medications to the nurse and health care provider.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Perform dressing changes and report changes to the licensed nurse.
