Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate daily care for residents in Carthage, MO. You will work under licensed staff, administering meds, monitoring residents, and supporting daily living activities.

The role emphasizes resident safety, dignity, and teamwork within a home-like community that values both care and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CMA program meeting state requirements; active CMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage, time, observations.
• Monitor medication responses and report adverse reactions promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, meals, mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and medication administration.
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
• Perform light housekeeping and assist with tours when needed.
