Birmingham OB/Gyn is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Birmingham, Alabama. This full-time role supports physicians and providers, helping to care for women through various life stages and ensuring a smooth, patient-centered workflow.

The ideal candidate has OB/Gyn or women’s health experience, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality within a busy practice. Prior experience with Greenway PrimeSuite is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Current Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience as Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• OB/Gyn or women’s health experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Professionalism, dependability, and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for obstetric and gynecologic visits.
• Document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information.
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms.
• Assist physicians and providers with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
• Document patient information in the electronic health record.
• Assist with patient messages, test results, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up as appropriate.
• Help coordinate the flow of a busy physician schedule.
• Provide patients with a professional, compassionate, and reassuring experience.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
