Americare Senior Living in Columbia, MO is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications and provide compassionate daily care to residents. Working under licensed nursing staff, you’ll help maintain a warm, home-like environment while ensuring safety and accuracy in care delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.

Aufgaben

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required
• Support team members by providing assistance as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested
