Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Lyndale Edmond community. The CMA administers and dispenses medications, assists residents with daily living, and supports their wellbeing and dignity. Starting pay is $17.23 per hour, with shifts from 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 4 days on/2 days off; PRN on other shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet state certification requirements.
• Caring, organized, and able to multi-task.
• Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting is preferred.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record medication administration as prescribed by a resident's physician under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and ensure proper storage.
• Provide accounting for medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care, mobility, and safety.
