Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) to join our Lyndale Edmond community in Edmond, OK. The role involves administering and documenting medications, monitoring residents, and assisting with daily living activities to maintain dignity and independence. We value compassionate care and teamwork.

Starting pay is $19.06 per hour, with full-time shifts 7a-3p or 3p-11p; 4 days on, 2 days off. Benefits include telemedicine, on-demand pay, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• ACMA certification per Oklahoma requirements.
• Prefer 2 years' experience managing medication for seniors.
• Proficient with EMAR and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications.
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and clean up.
