Qualifications

• Must hold PA CMA certification.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in senior care.
• Demonstrates compassion, empathy and a desire to serve seniors.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
• Effective communication and teamwork with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measuring, preparing, and administering medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitoring residents for adverse reactions and reporting concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintaining precise medication records and documentation.
• Assisting residents with medication reminders and ensuring proper adherence.
• Collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining a clean and organized medication dispensing area.
• Upholding high standards of resident safety and confidentiality.
