CommonSpirit Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our Pain Clinic within the St. Joseph Medical Group. You will assist with screenings, clinical procedures, health education, and administrative coordination, ensuring patients feel at ease and understand instructions.

You will collaborate with care teams to coordinate care for diverse patient populations, demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and adaptability, and contribute to a compassionate, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required at hire
• CMA/NHA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/AMT credentials accepted upon hire
• BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire
• High school diploma or GED required at hire

Responsabilités

• Perform general patient care following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration, height/weight, allergies, meds).
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis as needed.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered (oral, injections, topical, etc.).
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and follow up on completion.
• Communicate test results and care plan to patients as directed by physician.
