Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join an on-site clinic in a patient-centered healthcare team focused on supporting older adults in maintaining health, independence, and quality of life.

The role involves clinical support, phlebotomy, EKGs, and assisting providers, with full-time hours Monday–Friday in a on-site clinic environment, offering both purpose and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Current CMA certification/license.
• Life Support: Current BLS Certification.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year as CMA in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: Experience with frail or elderly populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and escorting to exam rooms.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, blood glucose checks, and related procedures.
• Assist providers and nurses with examinations, treatments, and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications or immunizations within CMA scope.
• Handle lab specimens safely and prepare for courier pickup.
• Maintain HIPAA and safety protocols and ensure clean exam rooms.
• Coordinate follow‑ups with scheduling staff and relay messages to care teams.
• Enter and update medication and immunization histories in EMR.
