Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our senior living community. You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification, at least 6 months of caregiving experience with seniors, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, mobility).
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) on staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
