Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications and support resident care in a senior living setting.

You will document medications, monitor resident status, and communicate with families and providers while assisting with daily activities and mobility. The role emphasizes patient safety, confidentiality, and teamwork in a fast-growing community.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support resident mobility.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
