Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a care team and enhance patient well-being through direct patient assistance and coordination.

You will engage in comprehensive screenings, assist with procedures, provide health education, and handle administrative tasks while coordinating care for diverse patient populations. Strong clinical knowledge, tech fluency, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials preferred or required by employer.
• Current CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in clinical settings and familiarity with basic medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height and weight.
• May draw blood and collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Administer medications and vaccines per orders and safety protocols.
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
