Job summary

Sanitas seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will assist with patient care, basic procedures, and ensure accurate charting under the supervision of a licensed Independent Provider (LIP).

Responsibilities include managing vitals, injections, specimen collection, and EHR documentation, while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Experience in a clinic environment and BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program required.
• 1+ year healthcare experience required.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under supervision of licensed provider.
• Perform basic clinical tasks: vitals, injections, specimen collection, and routine office tasks.
• Manage electronic health records and HIPAA-compliant patient documentation.
• Support billing/coding and insurance claims as directed.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care across clinics.
