Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician at the Main Hospital in New Brunswick to support RNs with hands-on patient care, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients. You will assist with daily activities and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a current BLS certification; CNA experience is preferred. Day shift, 7am–7:30pm, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification required.
• CNA experience or clinical exposure preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and nursing care, including vital signs and basic treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RNs.
• Document patient information in EHR with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety policies.
• Communicate with patients, families, and care teams to coordinate plans of care.
• Support emergency responses with Basic Life Support (BLS) when needed.
