Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver essential nursing care in the clinic setting under supervision. You will perform direct patient care, assist with procedures, administer medications, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires 0–2 years of outpatient experience and active LPN/LVN licensure with BCLS certification. Excellent communication and compassionate patient care are essential, with a commitment to HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN or LVN license in Missouri.
• 0–2 years of outpatient clinic experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient intake and documents symptoms, medical history, medications, and vital signs in the EMR.
• Administers medications and assists with medical and surgical procedures under supervision.
• Conducts diagnostic testing such as EKGs and basic lab tests; ensures proper sample collection and documentation.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintains a clean, sanitized clinic environment and adheres to infection control policies.
