Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN to deliver direct patient care in a clinic setting under supervision of licensed practitioners and RNs. The role includes administering medications, assisting with procedures, and documenting patient information in the EMR.

The LPN will collaborate with healthcare teams to support care plans, educate patients on management, and ensure a compliant, safe clinical environment in line with HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years clinical/outpatient experience required.
• Active LPN or LVN licensure in good standing.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake, document history and vitals in EMR.
• Administer medications via appropriate routes and assist with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic testing (EKG, basic labs) and document results.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and meds.
• Coordinate with providers to support care plans and HIPAA compliant communication.
• Maintain clean, safe clinic environment and proper waste disposal.
