Job summary

CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, seeks a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our Home Health Care Agency located in San Ramon, CA. This per diem role offers 12 visits per week with non-traditional schedules (Thu-Mon) in areas including San Jose and surrounding cities.

Required: 1 year CHHA experience, CA CHHA Certification and CPR, plus strong documentation and computer skills. Not a remote position; compensation based on full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and documenting on clinical charts.
• California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification.
• Strong attention to detail for chart documentation.
• Excellent time management and ability to deliver documentation timely.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or Gmail Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities.
• Check temperature, pulse and respiration rates under supervision of clinicians.
• Assist with exercises and daily activities as prescribed by clinicians.
• Support with bed transfers, dressing, grooming, hygiene and light housekeeping.
