Job summary
Maya Home Care in New Jersey seeks CHHA-certified caregivers to join our boutique home-care team. You will provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, helping with daily living activities while ensuring comfort, safety, and well‑being.
We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork and offer comprehensive training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment. Candidates must have NJ CHHA certification, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background
Qualifications
- Pass background check.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CHHA certification in NJ required.
- NJ HHA license preferred.
- Two forms of ID required.
- Ability to pass drug test/background check at any time.
- Immunization: MMR and PPD.
- Physical within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Monitor clients' health and report changes to the care coordinator.
- Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
- Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
- Document care provided accurately and timely.
