Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a full-time CHHA for Live Well Cottages at Vineland. You will provide direct resident care, follow individualized care plans, and ensure a safe, organized living environment in compliance with regulations. The role emphasizes teamwork and communication with the care team and families.

Responsibilities include reporting changes in resident status, assisting with meals and hygiene, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• HHA required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reports resident status to management at start/end of each shift.
• Provides personal care to residents per individualized plan of care.
• Documents care information as assigned.
• Assists with meals and dining room setup and eating.
• Assists residents with toilet and incontinence care.
• Keeps residents' apartments neat and clean.
• Performs clinical procedures according to facility standards.
• Measures vital signs and other trained procedures as directed.
