Job summary

Qualicare Home Care Central NJ is seeking a caring Caregiver with CHHA certification to provide compassionate personal care in clients' homes in Hillsborough Township, NJ.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and daily activities; monitor health, document care, and communicate with the care team. Availability evenings, weekends and holidays is required; reliable transportation a must.

Qualifications

• Valid CHHA certification and experience in personal care preferred.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.
• Background check and references required.
• Experience with elderly or disabled clients is a plus.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as directed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their families for optimal care.
