Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent seeks a part-time chaplain to deliver holistic spiritual care, counseling, and sacramental support to patients, families, and colleagues. You will participate in on-call rotations, serve across multiple sites, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and well-being.

Required are a graduate degree (MA or MDiv), clinical chaplain experience, and ecclesiastical endorsement; board certification within 18 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Completed graduate degree (MA, MDiv) in religious studies, theology, divinity or related field.
• Prior clinical chaplain experience is preferred.
• Endorsed by faith group and eligible for board certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide wholistic spiritual care and counseling to patients, families, and staff.
• Respond to codes and crises, support families, and promote patient safety.
• Participate in department operations, rounds, and committee activities.
• Mentor students in clinical pastoral education and align with organizational values.
