Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Fresno, CA is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision, following established policies and procedures to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, ID verification, assisting with daily living activities, and coordinating with the charge nurse and administrator. Qualifications require a CNA license or active CNA program enrollment, at least 6 months CNA experience, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant license or active CNA program enrollment.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during certification.
• Strong desire to care for ill, aged and infirm residents.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Maintain and clean resident areas and assist with daily living tasks.
