Job summary

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency in body mechanics, fire safety, infection control, patient safety, CPR, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• AHA BLS certification required; ability to obtain NV CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist in activities of daily living for patients (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Provide emotional support to patients.
• Assist in documentation of patient care from pre-admission to discharge.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and treatments without conflicts; maintain interdepartmental communication.
• Maintain unit supplies.
