Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Experience: Six months CNA experience preferred.
• License(s): Valid CA or NV Driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's DMV criteria.
• Certification(s): AHA BLS certification; ability to obtain and maintain Nevada CNA certification.
• Computer / Typing: Computer skills to complete online learning and forms within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist in activities of daily living for Pediatric to Geriatric patients.
• Provide emotional support and maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain documentation of patient care from pre-admission to discharge.
• Assist in scheduling diagnostic tests and treatments; coordinate with ancillary departments.
• Maintain unit supplies and interdepartmental communication; perform other duties as assigned.
