Job summary

Renown Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support diverse patient populations under supervision. You will assist in activities of daily living, mobility, safety, and empathetic care for pediatric to geriatric patients, under the direction of the nurse on duty.

Requirements include English proficiency, six months CNA experience preferred, Nevada CNA certification, BLS, and a valid CA/NV driver’s license with auto insurance. Computer skills for online learning and forms are required.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Six months CNA experience preferred.
• Valid CA or NV driver's license and ability to pass DMV criteria with current auto insurance.
• AHA BLS certification; ability to obtain Nevada CNA certification.
• Computer skills to complete online learning requirements and access online forms.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist in activities of daily living and emotional support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, safety, and comfort across age groups.
• Document patient care from pre-admission to discharge; coordinate tests and procedures.
• Maintain unit supplies and interdepartmental communication; support care team.
