Job summary

California Park Post Acute in Chico, CA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide nursing and related services to residents in a homelike environment. The role reports to the Director of Staff Development and/or Director of Nursing and is non-exempt under FLSA.

The position involves extensive direct resident care, ADL assistance, and adherence to plans of care. Salary ranges from $21.50 to $26.50 per hour, with duties including observation, documentation, and collaboration with nursing

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification issued by the local Department of Health Services or equivalent.
• Proficiency in performing ADL assistance and basic resident care.
• Ability to read, interpret written care plans and maintain resident dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.
