Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Follow the charge nurse's assignment schedule.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, nail care, and dressing as assigned.
• Move, lift, and transfer residents as required.
• Respond to call lights promptly and provide feeding assistance as needed.
• Maintain resident cleanliness and toileting, including incontinent care.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
