Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current Nurse Aide certification in good standing with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety and monitor well-being throughout shifts.
• Bathe, shower, comb hair, dress, nail care for assigned residents.
• Follow the charge nurse's schedule and assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide supportive, protective environments.
