Job summary

Texhoma Christian Care Center seeks a Certified Medication Aide to dispense medications and assist residents with daily living activities. The role requires completion of Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide training, as well as current Texas licenses.

Expect 12‑hour shifts and adherence to facility policies in a Christian care setting. Qualified applicants will hold active Texas CNA and CMA licenses, pass TB testing, and meet Texhoma and Texas Department of Aging requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of Nursing Assistant course or equivalent and Medication Aide course.
• Must have Texas Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) eligibility and current + TB test requirements.
• Ability to lift and assist residents, and perform long shifts with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and dispenses medications as prescribed by physicians per facility policies.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintains resident records and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Complies with infection control practices and company procedures.
