Visiting Angels in Maryland is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. You will assist clients with personal care, meal support, mobility, and daily activities, while maintaining their dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include following care plans, documenting care, communicating with the team, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. A positive attitude, reliability, and respect for client privacy are essential. Prior private duty home care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrate sympathetic attitude toward caring for others.
• Previous experience in private duty home care preferred.
• Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
• Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image.
• Possess and maintain good physical and mental health, including current TB testing.
• U.S. Citizen or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.

Responsabilités

• Understand and adhere to information and precautions contained in individual client’s Care Plan.
• Assist the client with personal care activities including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing and undressing, feeding and oral hygiene.
• Assist the client to the bathroom and maintain cleanliness, including incontinent care.
• Assist with medications and documentation of care furnished.
• Report incidents to supervisor and communicate with team.
• Support client with exercise, ambulation and transfers with proper body mechanics.
• Maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment and observe safety precautions.
• Provide respectful social interaction and protect client privacy and property.
