Job summary

Stand Out Home Care in Tennessee is seeking experienced, dependable caregivers to join a growing team. Our clients include private-pay and VA/CHOICES participants, and we offer flexible full-time or part-time schedules with weekly pay.

As a caregiver, you will help clients with daily living, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, while following individualized care plans and maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience required
• Dependable, professional and compassionate
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow client care plans and instructions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to successfully complete required background and compliance screenings

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Bathing, grooming, dressing and personal care
• Mobility, transfers and ambulation assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and supervision
• Running errands and assisting with daily routines
• Following individualized client care plans
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
• Reporting changes in a client's condition to the appropriate team member
