Job summary

Touchmark Georgetown is seeking full-time Caregivers for 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shifts. You will support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities and comfort, always upholding dignity and kindness.

In this role you will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, dressing, and toileting; build meaningful relationships with residents and families; and demonstrate Touchmark's values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Touchmark values: excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents in a geriatric environment.
• Ability to provide emotional support and use Best Friends Approach to dementia care.
• Willingness to continue learning and maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, toileting).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Build relationships with residents to contribute to a positive community experience.
• Support a caring environment by upholding Touchmark’s standards in daily interactions.
