Touchmark at Georgetown is hiring full-time Caregivers to support residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with emphasis on dignity, compassionate care, and building meaningful relationships.

You will assist with daily living activities, support residents’ well-being, and uphold Touchmark’s values while fostering a warm, respectful community for residents and their families.

Qualificações

• Commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents in a geriatric environment.
• Familiar with Best Friends Approach to dementia care.
• Willingness to continue learning and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to remain patient and tactful with residents, family, staff and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility and toileting.
• Build relationships with residents and family members, providing a positive presence daily.
• Support residents in a respectful, dignified manner within assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

We are currently hiring for full-time Caregiver positions with the following shifts available:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

As a Caregiver with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods receive the highest level of dignity and care. In this role, you will assist residents with activities of daily living as needed—activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting. Most importantly, this role will provide you with the chance to build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community and to leave work each day knowing that you made a difference in someone else’s life.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment

• Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care

• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality

• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
