Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Greensboro is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team. You will provide personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, shopping assistance, and light housekeeping to clients in their homes.

Ideal candidates have a valid CNA certificate, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and must pass a background check and drug screen. E-Verify employment eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Current TB test on file or able to obtain.
• CNA certificate required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or post-ops, including bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments or activities.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
