Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities. You will provide compassionate, individualized care in a supportive environment and help clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, meals, transportation, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to activities.

Qualifications

Excellent communication with clients and families.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
At least 1 year caregiver experience.
Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one.
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Article 9 certification.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Implement individualized care plans/goals tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
Monitor behavior and daily activities.
Light housekeeping.
Transportation to appointments and errands.
Accompany members on recreational activities.
