Job summary

Your Home Assistant is seeking Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide hands-on support in client homes. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation, delivering personalised care in a one-to-one setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving, healthcare, hospitality, or in-home support (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
• Ability to work independently in a one-on-one setting
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
• A genuine passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Medication reminders
• Mobility assistance (in-home and appointments)
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation (appointments, school pick-up/drop-off, outings)
• Providing parental support and respite care
• Observing and reporting changes in condition
• Responding responsibly in urgent or emergency situations
