Job summary

A First Name Basis is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/PCA to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in Mountain View, AR. You will provide personal care, companionship and light housekeeping, visiting clients’ homes across the service area.

The role requires compassion, reliability and the ability to travel to private homes. Prior PCA/DSW experience and a relevant certification are preferred; scheduling includes full-time or part-time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Home Health Aide or CNA certification preferred.
• DSW or PCA experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to client homes and work in private homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping and meal prep; assist with feeding as needed.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor changes in client health and report to supervisor.
• Document care provided per standards.
• Travel to client homes across service area.
• Complete required trainings on hire and annually.
• Follow written care instructions and document services.
