Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients handle personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications at the right times.
• Assist with shopping and putting away groceries (or shop for them).
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients (based on ability).
• Assist with mobility and ambulation, and accompany clients to appointments.
