Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a Personal Care Aide for PRN 2nd shift to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents at Hitchcock Square. You will assist with daily living activities, help with meals, and respond to emergency calls at a supportive community.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with residents and families, and compliance with state regulations. Navion offers training and a path to growth in senior care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
• Must be willing to obtain 80-hour personal care training certificate. Navion can provide this training!
• Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents and work in a team environment.
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist residents in dining room including serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Observe, document and report changes to residents’ condition to RN or designee.
• Communicate with residents and families in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies and procedures.
• Transport residents when required.
